Christa Chambers-Price, Founder & CEO
There is a simple truth that informs everything that I do, and I find it deeply fascinating: pitching focused on what you do while storytelling reveals who you are. Entrepreneurs should be comfortable with both critical skillsets to attract new employees, support, and investors. As the founder of Entre-SLAM, I have had the pleasure of working shoulder-to-shoulder with founders to help them discover why they exist and build the right story to share with the world.
It is an honor to wake up every day to help founders face the challenge of discovering their 'secret sauce' so that they can own whatever room they find themselves. For close to 25 years, I have worked with a diverse portfolio of founders representing social impact to medical device companies. These are good, hard-working, ambitious folks who are either launching new ventures or seeking to rebrand themselves. My job is to ensure that their brand story meets the potential of their vision.
In addition to working individually with founders and their teams, I also run a national business accelerator for The American Heart Association (AHA). Seeking an alternative to pitch events, the AHA launched a pilot business storytelling experience in 2017. Since then, the accelerator has grown 1400% in under four years and is now a nationwide, bi-lingual signature program that distributes over $500K in grants. Alumnae have gone on to be a Top 10 Finalist for the celebrity-studded CNN's Hero's Celebration; media outlets like Forbes and Fast Company have featured others, and venture tracked teams have secured over $30 million in Series A funding.
I am the author of The Brand Storybook: Everything an Innovator Needs to Know to Discover Their Voice, Own it, and Move the World. Before my work focusing on brand storytelling, I also have experience building award-winning graphic design, animation, and website programming projects. That experience, coupled with my time as a military intelligence Army National Guard veteran and a former FBI Fingerprint analyst, has uniquely positioned me to help guide founders through their insecurities as they discover and own their brand's story. Originally from Virginia, I received my Bachelor's degree from The University of Michigan.
